urgent covid-19 update

EFFECTIVE February 24, 2022

Ellendale United Methodist Church is a caring congregation which remains concerned about the health and well-being of all our members. In recognition of the continued drop in COVID-19 infections in Shelby County, and the fact that Shelby County has discontinued all mask mandates going forward, Ellendale United Methodist Church will no longer require the use of face masks. However, individuals who wish to continue wearing face masks are encouraged to do so, and face masks are still highly recommended for those with compromised immune systems. It is also recommended that you continue to frequently wash your hands and use hand sanitizer.

Biblical Images of the Mission of the Church

As a followup to the talk lead by the Rev. Dr. Comperry earlier this month, please study these Scriptures and journal about how God is speaking to you through them. Think about several key questions:

1) What does God want Ellendale UMC to be about?

2) Where is God calling Ellendale UMC to go?

3) What is God calling me to be about?

4) Where is God calling me to go or do?

Bring your journal to the meeting on Sunday, March 27th at 5:00 pm, and we will spend time sharing together our responses. All are encouraged to participate. Attendance at the initial talk is not a requirement.

OUR GATHERINGS

COME AS YOU ARE.

We are a community of people who are in process. We have imperfect messy lives, but we are pursuing and experiencing a transforming relationship with Jesus and with each other. Everybody is welcome here whatever your story, your questions, doubts or struggles. We’re all about doing life together in community, being intentional about our growth as people and serving one another and our broader community along the way.

We want to invite you to one of our Sunday Gatherings to experience our community of Jesus-followers authentically engaging with the God we love!
